A LITTLE HELP BEFORE THE BIG NIGHT

GOOD
QUESTIONS.

Tickets, timings and booking a show. Here are the things we’re asked most often.

What is a tribute show?

A tribute show celebrates the music of a well-known artist or band, with performers bringing their songs and live experience to the stage. Productions can range from solo performers to full live bands with musicians, dancers, costumes and production.

Are the shows performed live?

Yes. Start Events productions feature live performers and vocals, with the format varying between shows. Some productions feature full live bands, while others combine live performance with professionally produced backing tracks. Check the individual show page for more information.

How long does a tribute show last?

Running times vary between productions and venues. Many theatre shows include an interval, but you should check the individual event or venue information for the timings of the show you’re attending.

Where can I find tribute shows near me?

Use our Ticket Finder to search upcoming Start Events shows by town, venue or production. New dates are added regularly as shows go on sale.

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased using the ticket link next to each event on our website. This will take you directly to the venue or ticket provider’s booking page.

Who do I contact about my tickets?

All ticket sales are handled by the venue or ticket provider. If you have a question about an existing booking, please contact them directly using the details on your booking confirmation.

What time do shows start?

Start times vary by venue, although many evening performances begin around 7:30pm. Always check your ticket or the venue’s event listing for the confirmed start time and any information about doors opening.

Are your shows suitable for all ages?

Many Start Events shows are suitable for a wide range of ages, but restrictions can vary by production and venue. Some venues may also have specific age restrictions, particularly for standing events or licensed areas, so please check before booking.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Tickets are sold by individual venues and ticket providers, so their booking terms apply. Refunds are generally not available simply because you can no longer attend. If a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, the venue or ticket provider will contact affected customers with the available options.

Can I book a show for my theatre or venue?

Yes. Start Events works with theatres, arts centres and live entertainment venues across the UK. Visit our For Venues page to explore our current productions, marketing support and how we can work with your venue.
